Here is Libby in the dress Grandma & Papa gave her. It was finally warm enough this weekend to put her in it! Of course, she looked adorable in it. Thanks Grandma & Papa!

Luke's New Bike
Last weekend, we bought a bike for Luke. He is getting used to it and Abby loves his old tricycle. Hopefully, he'll be able to pedal along while I push the two girls in the stroller on some walks this summer.

Ahoy, matey

This picture is too good to pass up sharing. Luke wanted to be a pirate and enjoyed playing the part. Somehow, though, he doesn't understand that pirates are all bad guys. I guess, there are the Veggietales pirates who don't do anything, they seem to be okay. And then there's the Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride - you really want him to win in the end. So, indeed, I've reasoned it out - it is okay for my son to pretend to be a criminal.
Conversations - a little one sided maybe
One really has to love the full attention an alert newborn will give you. Libby loves to listen intently to everything you are saying (well, as long as she isn't screaming). Everyonce in awhile she'll move her mouth in such a way as it seems she really would like to respond to your admiration of her. Or at least I like to think so :o)
Libby's First Bath (at home)
Okay, so this isn't Libby's first EVER bath, since she got one at the hospital but it is her first at home. The nurse showed us a neat way to bath her in these early days. We swaddle her and put her in the warm water that way. She doesn't even fuss! In fact I think she really likes it.
