Where does a year go?

It is September. "Birthday Month" as we refer to it in our household. Luke just turned 3 and our little Abby just turned 1. I look back and see how much my children have changed and it amazes me. Luke is a little boy, wanting to do little boy things. Abby is so sweet and loves to "chat." Both are mellow and get along well. However, both can get easily annoyed and like to voice their opinions about that as well!

I do believe that I have changed too. Oh - the visual difference isn't that much (even though my bangs are much longer now!). But, I've learned what it means to be a mother of two. I've learned the importance of encouragement - both giving and receiving. I've learned to be content (even though it is not easy) when things don't always go your way (i.e. thinking you're going to be moving!). I've learned to be patient and try new methods of doing things (as when dealing with Abby's and my thrush). So indeed, my children are growing but so is their mother! Praise the Lord!
