Maple Syrup Festival

A week ago we went to an annual event here. It was the Maple Syrup Festival. It included a pancake breakfast and some educational activities. We saw how they tapped trees and how over the years various cultures have worked to get the yummy syrup processed. Did you know that it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup? Anyway, Luke got to try his hand at drilling a tap hole on an old stump.
