Clouds

Okay, at the risk of seeming even geekier than I already do, I'm going to post these pictures. One of the things I really missed living in CA was weather. And you Mid-Westerners know what I'm talking about. I really like a good "booming" thunderstorm (although I can do without the hail, tornadoes, and insanely strong winds). There is just something exciting and vitalizing about it. God certainly created the weather with the ability to overpower us humans. I also missed (while in CA) pretty sunsets created by the sun's glow on the clouds (they were pretty much obscured by the mountains or there were no clouds to speak of). So here are a couple of cloud pictures because now I take pictures of the "weather" cause I used to live without it!

These pictures are of an advancing front of a soon to be thunderstorm. We wound up in the basement due to tornado warnings.

A little investigation shows that these are altocumulus clouds. Pretty cool to see the whole sky almost covered with them.

Cool Pictures!! Weather is a fascinating thing. It rain hard for about a half an hour here at 4:00 this morning. Good sound to here. Only about .40 though.

Great pictures! Last Friday we had a beautiful rainbow out our front door. I don't think there's anything more promising than that!
