Here's a simple blog post centered on pictures. I'll try to explain each.
Here is Luke on 100 Day - apparently many schools now celebrate the 100th day of school. Luke's class each wore 100 items to school that they could then take off. They also got to bring a 100 pieces of a snack (Luke took 100 pretzels) and then stirred them together for a 100 Day Mix to eat as a snack. We've not been lacking of snow lately. Here is our little girl willingly choosing child labor.
Luke also had his first grade program this past week. Which Grandma & Papa were able to come and watch! Here is the whole 1st grade class. There are 4 different 1st grade rooms. Each with slightly over 20 students (Luke's has 23). So we figured there are close to 90 students in his class.
The program was called Eee Iiii Eeeee Iiiii Oops! And was centered around a farm theme. Luke did not have a special line or part. In his words "That's just not my style." But each student had to dress up like a farm animal. So I figured a cow would be one of the simplest to make. Here he is:

Of course, Grandma & Papa had lots of fun and gave the kids a special Valentine's treat: big lollipops! The novelty of them really was a hit with them. Abby said they were "like from a fairytale."
Libby was sick the whole time they were here. Poor girl! She still enjoyed her time with them but often was not amused when Papa tried to make her smile ;)
This was taken Sunday morning. You can see that Libby was not so into having her picture taken. The next morning I took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with an ear infection. She's feeling much better now!
