Mike and I have long debated what is the better pickle. Mike is a bread and butter pickle man, and I'm a kosher dill all the way. Of course, I know there are people that have a distinct affinity to homemade pickles (Mrs. Wages seems to be a popular seasoning mix) and there are those people who would swear by sweet refrigerator pickles (I can't tell the difference in between them and bread-n-butter pickles). Then, of course, gherkins can be thrown into the mix and I have to say they do taste great with chili. So, what kinda pickle lover are you?
Update: After much heated debate, it seems as though I was right (was there any doubt?) and dill pickles are far superior to sweet.

I'm a kosher dill girl when it comes to store bought. However, homemade sweet pickles may trump those--especially with my grandma's recipe
New Look is great!!! OK I like dill pickles that are not spicey. Mom used to make some that made a person cry. Mom also had a recipee that had so much garlic no one could stand beside you for a week.
Too bad Grace can't vote. We have not found a pickle that she won't eat. Her was so precious teething on your mom's pickles. Now she can't get enough of them.
Dill pickles are acceptable fare. However, bread and butter pickle are extraordinary. And for hot dogs, sweet relish and yellow mustard are perfection.
Hot and spicy dill pickles. My mom used to make the hottest dill pickles and they rocked. If I can't get those then just flat out dill pickles. Can't stand the bread and butter. Ick!
Klausen dill pickles are SO good!! I have been eating tons lately with this pregnancy - Tyson thinks I'll pickle our child!! The other day I opened a jar and just the smell alone took me back to my childhood - my Grandma would always have them and bring them to family functions. But Any dill pickle is great - I can stand bread and butter, but sweet pickles are disgusting!
Talk about a hot topic!
Kosher here too! although I do like my mother-in-laws refigerator pickles too.
Like the new layout!!!! Looks good!
Kosher dill are the favorite in the Pelletier house. My sisters homemade ones are our favorite, well at least Mike and mine (we have a hard time sharing them with the kids!)
I may be a little late for this discussion, but I had to thrown in my two cents: bread & butter are better baby! Say that 3 times, fast!
